Experts will look at market size and future scope, mapping the future direction of the digital textile market in the next few years, with estimates of global market size and full discussion of the key technology drivers for the various segments of the digital textile industry.

Delegates can also expect invaluable first-hand insights from retail and fashion brand owners procuring digitally printed textiles, and from print service providers who are succeeding with digital textile as part of their service offering.

FESPA Managing Director, Events, Frazer Chesterman comments: “Digital textile is one of the most promising, diverse and fast-growing offshoots of the digital wide format industry. Soft signage applications are booming in response to buyer demands for lighter weight signage offering greater flexibility and durability with reduced transportation costs, and suppliers throughout the industry are rising to the opportunity with new hardware, inks, substrates and display systems. In the apparel and home décor arenas, new generation inkjet heads promising cost-effective industrial scale productivity may hold the potential to shake up even mainstream textile printing, in the way that digital production has revolutionized the sign and graphics sector since 2005, and more recently garment and soft signage.”

He continues: “The FESPA Digital Textile Conference has established itself since 2008 as a valued source of international expert opinion and guidance for print service providers who have already embraced textile applications, or those who are looking to do so as part of a diversification strategy. With the support of our conference sponsor JTeck, this year’s speaker programme once again promises to offer vital insights to help printers pursue this path in evolving their businesses for the future.”
