Osnabrück, Germany-based Felix Schoeller Group (FSG) has expanded its canvas range to include four new matt canvas products. The new products are suitable for use in large-format printing (inkjet, water-based) for wall decorations and large-format digital reproductions of fine art or photos.

On the new products, Senta Becker, product manager for the wall decoration and digital fine art range at FSG, comments, “This new range of products with their different surface structures and colour nuances has been finished with a high quality ink-receiving layer. With their large colour gamut and natural white and bright white colour nuances, these canvases will satisfy even the most demanding user. They also have another plus point in the converting stage: the classic cotton/polyester half panama weave guarantees excellent workability and high dimensional stability.“

The new range consists of Canvas and Canvas Premium. The two options differ primarily in structure and weight. Canvas has a fine, homogeneous structure and a grammage of 340 g/m². By contrast, Canvas Premium has a deep natural structure and a grammage of 410 g/m². Both canvases are available in Natural White and Bright White. All the canvas materials are free of harmful substances in compliance with Oeko-Tex®-Standard 100 (Confidence in Textiles). Their defining features are high consistency in terms of both material and quality. Another winning feature is their high light resistance with pigmented inks. They have the added advantage of drying immediately after printing.
