3M’s next generation of environmentally friendly wrap media, Envision 480 Print Wrap Film, is set to outperform even some of 3M’s own industry favourites.
Recently added to William Smith’s already extensive materials distribution portfolio, this non-PVC white film, with its unique combination of sustainability and high-performance technology, offers an ideal solution for sign-makers who are looking for a greener option. Suitable for a wide range of applications, Envision 480 Print Wrap Film, which comes with 12 years durability, can be used to wrap everything from vehicles, trailers, boats, buses and motorcycles, to textured walls, as well as for indoor and outdoor signage.
Envision Print Wrap Film is 100% printer compatible, with SV480Cv3 for solvent, eco-solvent and UV inkjet printing, and LX480Cv3 for latex and UV inkjet printing. Both films can also be used for UV and solvent screen-printing.
It offers enhanced conformability, easier and faster installation and removal, excellent stretch properties and greater tensile strength, making it tear resistant. Furthermore, it can be fitted in a broader range of ambient temperatures and its Comply air release adhesive makes it easy to apply.
Envision 480 Print Wrap Film comes with a Gloss Wrap Overlaminate 8548G, which offers a super-high gloss finish.
Once installed with its overlaminate, Envision Print Wrap Film is highly durable and resistant to UV rays, high temperatures, moisture and acid dew.
William Smith’s customers are already seeing the benefits of using 3M Envision 480 Print Wrap Film –
Since it was released, LW Graphics has been using 3M Envision 480 Print Wrap Film for the majority of its printed graphics on commercial work, ranging from small Transits to larger Mercedes Sprinters, up to a single decker bus.
Aidan Hancock says: “We prefer Envision 480 as our fitters find that it has benefits that other materials don’t offer; for example, it’s easier to fit and is pliable in a wider range of temperatures. Other benefits are a higher quality and smoother finish, and good adhesive air release. We find it negates the need for other materials, enabling us to use a single film across the board.”
Another company that uses 3M Envision 480 Print Wrap Film for full wraps, mainly on commercial vans of different sizes, is Grafx@fxmotorsport.
“We like the quality of the finish and ease of fitting; and the Comply air release adhesive is also very good,” says Andrew Potts.
“It is our policy to sell on quality rather than price and we have observed that our customers also recognise the quality of this material,” he adds.
3M Envision 480 Print Wrap Film and Overlaminate are available from William Smith ex-stock, as full, part or custom slit rolls and same day despatch is provided on full or part roll orders received up to 6.00pm.
