This pre-treatment is using cutting edge binder technology in order to optimise ink performances, ensuring excellent rub resistance, light fastness and bright, vivid colours.
GOTS is recognised as the world’s leading processing standard for textiles made from organic fibres and treatments. It defines high-level environmental criteria along the entire organic textiles supply chain and requires compliance with social criteria as well.
GOTS certification provides yet another credible assurance for textile manufacturers that in addition to its pigment ink, the pre-treatment optimiser solution is also the most ecological choice, offering one simple process, with one pre-treatment for all fabrics, applied using a standard padder, one printer and one pigment ink for printing on all fibres, for every textile application.
With Bordeaux’s single pre-treatment and ink to all types of fabrics there is no post treatment required, no need to steam or wash the printed fabrics, and it is ready to be cut and sown. As a result there is a tremendous reduction in electricity and water consumption and the entire process is shorten.
Bordeaux’s EDEN PG pigment ink rub and wash resistance are high even without any pre-treatment to the fabric. When using the pre-treatment optimiser the test results are among the highest in the market with 5/5 wash and rub resistance and 7/8 colour fastness.
“Bordeaux sets new standards in the textile industry. Our solution of one pre-treatment solution and one pigment ink for all fabrics creates a simple and feasible solution for digital textile printing,” says Guy Evron, Marketing Director at Bordeaux.
“With the latest GOTS certification for the pretreatment solution in addition to the ink’s certification, we are also providing the assurance to our customers that not only is Bordeaux the professional solution but also the most ecological one.”
