Greg Ralph co-founded Solopress in 1999 and was instrumental in its early growth as a pioneer in online printing.

Greg Ralph, co-founder of Solopress, has rejoined the Essex-based printer as Sales & Customer Success Director, reporting directly to CEO Simon Cooper.

Following Simon Cooper’s promotion to CEO of both Solopress in the UK and Onlineprinters in Germany, Solopress has strengthened leadership in the UK with the appointment of Greg Ralph as Sales & Customer Success Director.

Greg Ralph was one of Solopress’ original founders, establishing the business in 1999 alongside former school friends Andy Smith and Aron Priest. As part of the management team, he played a key role in the company’s early success, helping to drive rapid growth as Solopress became a pioneer in online printing.

In 2012, Ralph stepped away from the business to explore opportunities in e-commerce, consultancy and property development. His career since has given him a broad perspective on business strategy, digital transformation and customer experience.

In his new role, he will lead efforts to attract and retain customers and improve support services, as well as overseeing the company’s various sub-brands that focus on providing procurement solutions for trade partners.

These include Solopro, the bespoke account management programme for larger businesses, and Soloflo, the company’s API solution. Ralph is particularly enthusiastic about growing Brand Central, the innovative microsite solution for organisations with multiple locations, teams or franchises. With Brand Central, the customer gets a bespoke print ordering portal so that stakeholders within the organisation can always source consistent, on-brand print while maintaining control of print budgets.

Greg Ralph commented: “It’s fantastic to be back at Solopress, especially at such a pivotal moment in the company’s journey. The business has grown enormously since I was last here, and I’m excited to contribute to the next phase of its success. Brand Central in particular is an area where I can see an immense potential to add value to our offering. With a strong team, cutting-edge technology and a commitment to exceptional service, we have a great opportunity to build on Solopress’ reputation as a leader in online print.”

Simon Cooper, CEO of Solopress and Onlineprinters, said: “Greg’s return is a major asset to Solopress. As a founder, he knows the business inside out, and his experience since then brings fresh insight at a time when we’re driving forward with ambitious plans. His leadership will be key in strengthening our customer offering and continuing our growth in the UK market.”

Ralph returns to Solopress at an exciting time. The company recently marked 25 years in business and holds the title of Printweek’s Company of the Year. With fresh ambitions for growth and innovation, Solopress is well-positioned to build on its success, and Ralph’s expertise will help shape the next phase of its journey.
