Sign & Digital UK 2025 came to a close on Tuesday, February 25 after a successful three days at the NEC in Birmingham.
The second co-location with Printwear & Promotion LIVE! attracted 7,055 visitors who took the time out of their busy working week to discover everything the two industries and exhibitions had to offer.
Event director, Tony Gardner, said: “This year’s Sign & Digital UK and its co-location Printwear & Promotion LIVE! was positively received by our exhibitors and visitors! As expected without a partition between the two halls, there was a constant flow of visitors across the two. Once inside it felt like one big event!
“We were delighted to welcome back a number of big names to the show this year including Antalis, William Smith and of course Hexis, and the Hexis Wrap Battle. This together with the special guest appearance of Yiannimize on the Monday really added a buzz to this year’s event.
“Moving forward we now have a real framework to regrow the show!”
More 60 exhibitors took to the show floor to showcase their very latest equipment, products and services for the visual communications sector. Visitors were able to view many exclusive product launches as exhibitors used the show as a platform to showcase their new equipment to the masses. For example, Hybrid Services hosted the launch of the new Mimaki JFX200-1213EX flatbed printer and Roland DG introduced visitors to the TrueVIS XP-640.
While over in the adjoining hall, visitors could discover all the equipment, products, services and advice they could need should they wish to diversify into the garment decoration world.
Katie Farr, marketing and communications manager at Antalis, commented after the event: “It’s been great to be back at Sign & Digital UK this year! From collaborating with industry partners, taking part in the panel discussions, to meeting new businesses looking for material solutions, the show was vibrant, educational, and a great platform for us to share our products, services, and expertise.”
While Chris Bailey, managing director of Quality Print Services, added: “The show proved to be a success for us as we drummed up plenty of interest in the products we had on display throughout Sign & Digital UK 2025.”
Yiannimize praises SDUK
Perhaps the main highlight during the exhibition was the special guest appearance by YouTube sensation and celebrity car wrapper Yianni Charalambous, CEO of Yiannimize. Visitors on the Monday were provided with an insight into the man himself and his successful business as he took to The Explains Lounge stage to be interviewed by Jack Gocher, editor of Eye on Display.
Yianni also bought along with him his very own stunning Lamborghini Revuelto, which certainly drew in the crowds and provided an excellent photo op for visitors.
Speaking after the event, Yianni said: “What a great day I had at Sign & Digital UK. I met so many people and had some really cool and interesting conversations. I really enjoyed judging the Hexis Wrap Battle daily final and being witness to the talent and skills the vehicle wrappers were showcasing as they battled to win a spot in the Grand Final.
“Being asked to share insight into Yiannimize and the car wrapping industry as a whole was an honour and it was great that The Explains Lounge audience was as engaged as it was. My Lamborghini Revuelto also created a buzz among the visitors! Thanks so much for letting me a part of such a thriving event!”
Hexis Wrap Battle
After an intense three days of battling, the winner of the Hexis Wrap Battle was crowned on Tuesday, February 25. 2023 winner, Chris Hooper of Wrapworx Devon retained his crown as he won first place and took home a prize of £1,000 worth of Hexis brand products.
Chris demonstrated incredible skill, speed, and precision, proving once again why he’s at the top of the game.
Runner up on the day was Chris Edwards of CVI Group and coming in third was Oleg Sozonenko of Silverstone Wraps.
Competitors in the daily final on Monday were in for surprise as their skills were judged by Yianni. The guest judge offered his expertise and provided running commentary of the 10-minute showdown, before selecting a wildcard entry for the Grand Final on Tuesday.
After such a successful second co-location, both Sign & Digital UK and Printwear & Promotion LIVE! will return to the NEC in Birmingham in February 2026.
