Tetenal UK is proud to announce the newest addition to its experienced sales team with the appointment of Mike Cartwright as Account Manager for the West Midlands and Southern Counties.
Mark Wilkins, Tetenal's sales manager, comments, "Mike brings with him years of experience but also a fresh energy to the role, specifically for developing the area he will be based in. He can help us to not only grow our traditional photographic production business with his great levels of knowledge of production processes but also has the capability to give us a fresh perspective on digital products.”
Mike’s photographic career started with the Truprint processing group in 1978 as Q.C. Technician, advancing to Q.C. Supervisor, covering all aspects of process and printer control monitoring. In 1984 he moved to Hanimex/Fujimex as Q.C. Manager being responsible for the quality control of the Fuji chrome film processing lab and Fotek School Portraits divisions within the company.
In 1992 he moved to Tudor Photographic as Technical Manager, supporting its sales force, with technical support and running Tudor’s and then AGFA’s process monitoring services. During his time at Tudor, Mike progressed to Operations Manager overseeing all aspects of the day to day running of the busy sales office.
In 2004 with the merger of Tudor Photo, Crown Photo Systems and Standard Photographic at SPS Logistics, Mike was General Manager of the Crown Photo Division of the company. He went on to join Photologic in April 2009, as Business Development Manager before progressing to become Sales Director for the northern region. His most recent position has been as Sales Manager at Champion Distribution.
Mike Cartwright concludes, “I’m looking forward to my new position with Tetenal as Account Manager. It’s an extremely exciting prospect to join the UK’s leading photographic distribution company.”
