Wrights Plastics appoints Nick King to business development role

Nick King has over 27 years’ experience in the retail display and POS sector, having worked for some of the industries best-known companies in a career that has seen him develop and deliver successful POS, POP and Visual Merchandising projects for some of the biggest names in retail including Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Sainsbury, Mothercare and Dixons CarPhone.

Wrights Plastics has appointed Nick King as Business Development Manager.

Nick brings a wealth of sector experience to the expanding West Bromwich Point of Sale (POS) / Point of Purchase (POP) manufacturer.

Nick has over 27 years’ experience in the retail display and POS sector, having worked for some of the industries best-known companies in a career that has seen him develop and deliver successful POS, POP and Visual Merchandising projects for some of the biggest names in retail including Marks & Spencer, Tesco, Sainsbury, Mothercare and Dixons CarPhone.

Initially managing an electro-plating business - a subsidiary of a leading manufacturer servicing the Point of Sale industry - the young Nick found himself becoming the customer facing side of the business, successfully developing accounts including Monsoon/Accessorize and Fat Face. This unexpected change of direction was the start of a successful sales and business development career. Having subsequently worked for other design-led manufacturers across the UK, Essex-based Nick is looking forward to his latest challenge.

Nick has previously worked for Format Interiors, SDI Displays, HL Display and Wenbar.
