On Saturday 12th March, 14 members of the Antalis marketing team embarked on a 5k mud run called the Suffering Race at Rockingham Castle, Leicestershire.

The team so far have raised almost £1300 to support the tremendous work the Cynthia Spencer Hospice in Northampton does – most recently supporting Duncan Webster, Technical Services Manager at Antalis, and his wife who recently lost her battle with cancer.

Commenting on the event, Cassie Booth, Marketing Manager at Antalis said: “The name Suffering Race really does say it all, particularly as it turned out to be almost 10k! However we pushed through the pain, mud and freezing water and supported each other along the treacherous journey, keeping in mind the great cause we were supporting.”

The team’s Just Giving page, sharing a poignant story of Duncan’s daughter Layla and the incredible spirit of her mother, can be found here: https://www.justgiving.com/AntalisMudRun
