The British Standards Institute (BSI) is looking for sponsors to support the UK meeting of ISO TC130 Graphics technology. This is scheduled to take place in London in 2014. The BSI is working with IPEX to host this international printing industry standards meeting at the show.

Over five days, the ISO TC130 sessions bring together standards makers from around the world. The various working groups within ISO TC130 are developing key standards for the prepress and printing industries. This includes the ISO12647 series for print method process control and the PDF/X series for workflow quality assurance.

These working group meetings attract between 70-100 industry leaders from close to 20 countries from all continents – including the Brazil and China. The event provides sponsors with a unique opportunity to meet with the influential individuals working on critical industry standards (including leading developers, printers, manufacturers and industry association representatives).

Sponsorship costs are modest and the returns substantial. Apart from logo placement on all meeting collateral and signage, there will be opportunities to meet with committee members, provide them with hands-on technology demonstrations and to host social activities.

This is a rare chance for companies and associations to get closer to the standards writing process, or even to get involved. It is also a great way to leverage an IPEX presence and to share technology development ideas with international standards developers.
