In a surprise move, HP has announced the cancellation of its expansion plans for the HP Print Station programme throughout the UK.
HP’s Print Station programme was launched in the UK earlier this summer at an event co-hosted by John E Wright's and attended by the Mayor of Nottingham. The HP/John E Wright's co-branded store in Nottingham was the first of a planned many that were being established to address the needs of small and medium businesses.
Already rolled out across 9 European countries – including the UK – there are over 50 shops worldwide. According to HP, ‘strategic reasons’ were behind the move and HP has stated that as of 1st November, all future HP Print Station activities will be partner-led.
