A whole host of themed products are just a click away in the e-shop. And to get in the festive spirit, Pixartprinting’s creative team have put together PIXMAS 2016, a quirky Christmas video campaign to be aired to 15th December. Each of the 10 episodes will feature discounts and surprises on a vast range of customisable materials and offerings, all revealed through an advent calendar.
Throughout the animated tale, which depicts a day in the life of an elf during the festive period, shopping bags, packaging, cardboard animals, decorative panels, background shapes and scenery come to life – all made from and printed on materials and media from the Pixartprinting catalogue. From dawn to dusk, our eccentric elf embarks on a series of adventures through this surreal world, culminating in a very special encounter.
The PIXMAS 2016 video is inspired by musicals. Staged with costumes, choreography and handmade scenery, it showcases the creativity that Pixartprinting promotions and products can inspire. There’s distinctive music too: the soundtrack is a Christmas carol specially composed for PIXMAS 2016. Sung in a sort of grammelot with PIXMAS the only intelligible word, the melody catchily conjures a Christmas atmosphere.
“The Christmas period is the best time of year for showcasing content that captures the collective imagination by appealing to customers’ emotions,” said Andrea Pizzola, Sales & Marketing Director at Pixartprinting. “PIXMAS 2016 is an invitation for playful reinvention inspired by the images, shapes and sounds of childhood and presented in story form. Designed to make Christmas by Pixartprinting go viral, the new campaign shows how our products can result in new and surprising solutions when combined with customers’ imaginations.”
