In cooperation with Sihl Direct and its Germany-based partner, Kaut-Bullinger, swissQprint has announced that it has now sold more than 100 inkjet printing machines to customers in Germany over the past five years. The sales figures include all three SwissQprint models – the Oryx, the Impala and the Nyala.

Düren-based Sihl Direct was swissQprint’s first sales partner when the company was launched in 2007 and the first Oryx inkjet machine found buyers through Sihl’s in-house exhibition held at Drupa 2008.

The 100th machine changed hands in December 2012. More than a third of the machines are in use in southern Germany, where contractual partner Kaut-Bullinger is responsible for sales and distribution.

UV inkjet systems from swissQprint are based on shared fundamentals: Swiss quality, high precision and a robust modular design, with a variety of application options. All three models are flatbed printers with add-on features as required.  Examples include the roll to roll option for printing on flexible materials such as tarpaulins, mesh or self-adhesive films, and the board option that offers a simple method of printing on oversized formats. In addition to the CMYK standard, the machines can be equipped with light colours, white, varnish, primer and spot colours thanks to a maximum of 9 colour channels.
