The Taylor Bloxham Group has been recognised for the quality of their printing work by making the final shortlist in four separate categories at a national industry awards event.
Following a rigorous judging process for the annual PrintWeek awards, the print and marketing communications company is in the running for ‘Bespoke Magazine Printer of the Year’, ‘Brochure Printer of the Year’, ‘Customer Service Team of the Year’, and ‘Social Stationery Printer of the Year’.
There were over 600 submissions for the awards and over the past few weeks, leading print buyers and independent experts have shortlisted those who represent the very best the UK print industry has to offer.
The Taylor Bloxham Group is one of 60 finalists who will be competing across 24 different categories at the event which takes place at the Grosvenor Hotel in London on Monday 22nd October.
“We are delighted that the quality of our magazine, brochure and social stationery printing has been recognised by the judges in the shortlist alongside the dedication of our customer service team,” explains Robert Lockwood, CEO of Taylor Bloxham Group. “The judging process is extremely challenging and only the best of the best make the final so we were delighted to get this far in so many categories.”
Last year, The Taylor Bloxham Group was highly commended in the ‘Bespoke Magazine Printer of the Year’ category, just missing out on first place.
“We hope to go one (or even four) better this year. 2018 has been the first full year that we have been able to use the various new equipment and facilities bought in the aftermath of a serious fire that occurred at our headquarters in 2017. The significant investments that the Group has made have increased turnover and have allowed us to offer a quicker and more cost effective service with the highest print quality,” adds Robert.
Following the May 2017 fire, the Taylor Bloxham Group embarked on an ambitious investment programme that involved the installation of new machinery including a Scitex 11000, Primera MC, a saddle stitching system and an Alegro Perfect Binder. The printing division has also added a new Indigo 7900 digital press and installed a Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106 this year.
The Taylor Bloxham Group is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year and consists of four divisions which include Taylor Bloxham printing, FastAnt fulfilment and e-commerce division, Instore design and point of purchase operation, and direct mail brand Mailbox.
