Tetenal is extremely proud to announce that they have been certificated as an Epson Au-thorised Service Centre.

Following a rigorous training programme, the Tetenal Technical Support Team is now able to offer support and repairs on Epson Large Format Printers as well as all Epson SureLab equipment.

Epson users will now be happy to know they have access to a dedicated team of engineers at the end of the phone to assist with any technical issues.

Tetenal’s Technical Support Team manager Rob Blanchard commented on this latest acco-lade for his team. “Tetenal are already one of the leading UK suppliers of Epson Large Format Printers and the leaders in Epson SureLab equipment so it made perfect sense for us to utilise our team of engineers to offer warranty work and repair support for the equipment.

The training was quite intensive but it helped that we have a dedicated Epson showroom here at Tetenal so we could it on-site with Epson engineers. We realise print equipment is the heart of our customers business so our team are now able to make sure those businesses continue to produce print.

Our expanded team now offer a comprehensive range of Technical Support from Support Agreements which offer complete peace of mind in addition to our repair service and Return To Base (RTB) Repair Centre for Kodak equipment.

Tetenal add new face to their Tetenal Technical Support Team

Tetenal has added to its support team with the appointment of Dave Farr as a Field Service Engineer. Dave arrives at Tetenal with an impressive CV.

Born in Cape Cod, USA and spending his childhood just outside of Boston, he arrived in the UK at the age of 17 and soon afterwards joined the Jessops store in Coventry as a Sales Floor Assistant. He quickly rose to the position of Assistant Manager before being moving to Leicester.

His success in-store led to him moving to Jessop’s HQ to become their Mini-Lab co-ordinator which evolved into the position of Technical Support Manager heading up a team responsible for Jessop’s installed base of 1200 kiosks!

He subsequently moved to Nexphoto as Technical Manager and then on to Lucidiom as their Product Integration Manager covering both hardware and software together with their online gifting service.

It was Tetenal’s history and the vision presented to him of how they wanted to expand their service and support offering which attracted Dave to make the move.

“The history of Tetenal is one that few can match in the world of photography but it was also their reputation in the field which was attractive. Once I’d spoken to Rob Blanchard (Tetenal’s Technical Support Services Manager) and he’d explained the plans for expansion I realised this wasn’t just a company which was resting on its laurels but one which was forward thinking and looking at growth. It didn’t take me long to accept once the offer was made!”

Rob Blanchard commented further on the appointment “We’re really happy to have a guy of Dave’s experience and expertise on board as we enter a period of growth. He will add to the already excellent team we have here and enable us to move forward with our plans to expand the technical services we offer such as our appointment as an Authorised Epson Service Centre, as well as giving us added geographical coverage. Dave is well known and liked in the industry already so his integration into our team should be seamless”
