Agfa Graphics has invested substantially in its demonstration centres in Mississauga, Canada, and in Mortsel (headquarters) Belgium, to create a permanent portfolio exhibit for customers and prospects. Last week, 200 visitors were personally invited to Mortsel (Antwerp) to experience Agfa Graphics’ latest technologies, products, applications and services during the first of a series of European Red Carpet customer events.
Attendees of the Red Carpet event were introduced to Agfa Graphics’ complete offering of integrated end-to-end wide-format inkjet solutions consisting of robust and reliable printers, high-definition UV inks, media, comprehensive workflow software, and finishing – all designed in accordance with Agfa Graphics’ “integrated solutions approach” and built to the highest quality standards. Agfa Graphics VP Inkjet Dominiek Arnout and his team of experts shared the latest research developments and application knowhow.
“These focused events give customers elaborate insight to the company’s newest developments, as well as access to the company’s technology experts. We will not only organise them for sign and display audiences, but also with a focus on CtP solutions, workflow software and mobile publishing solutions,” said Stefaan Vanhooren, President, Agfa Graphics.
Visitors got the opportunity to explore the Jeti Titan S and HS systems and the new Anapurna i-series first-hand, as well as to experience the dedicated Asanti workflow automation software which opens opportunities to new business models for Sign and Display printers. All are part of a portfolio that is characterised by end-to-end quality, reliability and consistency.
“The systems combine exceptional performance and high productivity,” said Willy Van Dromme, Marketing Manager Inkjet Systems, Agfa Graphics. “Thanks to the ‘thin ink layer technology’, Agfa Graphics’ UV-curable inks deliver the highest quality prints with the lowest ink consumption per square meter in the industry.”
Agfa Graphics has been holding similar VIP Red Carpet Events in its Competence Center in Mississauga, Canada and is rolling out the concept over the world.
