Wall, floor and window graphics applications are recognised as a fast trending application in the signage and graphics market, and Nottingham-based specialist distributor, ArtSystems, invited Neschen media users to a busy masterclass demonstration day in its dedicated facility on 12th November.
It was an exclusive opportunity for attendees to see how the HP Latex 300 Series and the grand format Latex 3100 system is creating exciting possibilities across the entire decorative application sector, especially wall, floor and window graphics.
ArtSystems’ Sign & Display Sales Manager, Andrew Edwards, said: “The day was a great success and really demonstrated how the Neschen media works perfectly with the latest HP Latex technology to provide a great finish across a whole gamut of applications.
“Visitors from all over the UK thoroughly enjoyed the masterclass demonstrations by experienced operators and told us they were keen to get back to their workshops and put everything they’d learned into practice.”
He added: “ArtSystems has a philosophy of providing active support and education for users of materials and hardware across our entire portfolio. These open days help graphics professionals get the most from their investment while also learning better and more lucrative applications.
“We get just as much back. It’s great to interact with people working at the coalface of graphics provision. It means we can get an even better grasp on the current situation in the print world − and get to provide answers to the most topical questions on a face-to-face basis.”
The day was not just about HP Latex. Visitors were also shown the capabilities of the HP Scitex FB550/750 UV printers with rigid substrates. The importance of print finishing and workflow was highlighted using Summa flatbed cutters and Onyx RIPs.
Andrew concluded: “The open day let visitors see real life applications in action with live demonstrations of wallcovering and window signage throughout the day. These demonstration days have proved a great success and we will be organising more throughout 2016, focusing on every aspect of our portfolio.”
