The brand new Mutoh ValueJet 1324 and 1624 printers will be demonstrated for the first time in the UK at a series of Open Days hosted by specialist large format reseller and service provider, Digital Print Innovations (DPI) and supported by Colourgen.
The open days will take place on Thursday 27th October at Colourgen’s Maidenhead-based demonstration suite and on Wednesday 9th / Thursday 10th November at DPI’s new Digital Print Innovation Centre in Derby.
The Mutoh ValueJet 1324 is a high-performance 54” eco-solvent printer featuring cutting-edge print technology and precision engineering at an affordable price. Utilising Mutoh’s 4-colour Eco Ultra inks, the ValueJet 1324 is the perfect solution for the production of outdoor posters, signs, banners, backlit signage and more.
Both the ValueJet 1324 and 1624 have the same new state-of-the-art print head, giving unsurpassed print speeds for printers in their price ranges, printing up to 30 sqm per hour.
The ValueJet line comes with additional performance enhancements as standard including improved paper feed accuracy, an exceptional take-up system, ink changes on-the-fly and three individually controlled heaters for faster drying.
Also standard on the new ValueJets is Mutoh’s patented I² Intelligent Interweaving print technology. Revolutionary in the piezo printing application world, this technique allows for increased print speeds and virtually eliminates banding. Improved accuracy and consistency of dot size and dot release during printing enriches the image and creates prints with rich, vibrant colours and spectacular print quality.
Alongside the new Mutoh ValueJet 1324 and 1624, visitors to the Open Days will also be able to view the Jetrix 2513 FRQ Flatbed, Seiko W-64S, Kona Cutter, Epson Stylus Pro11880 and Epson Stylus Pro GS6000.
DPI’s new Digital Print Innovation Centre in Derby houses the latest in wide format digital print and finishing solutions from a range of manufacturers and is a working showroom, training and testing centre. The wide format print and finishing product solutions on offer will continue to grow as DPI adds to its UK distribution agreements – including a new hybrid 100% green superwide format printer being launched at SGIA at the end of October.
