Four Pees held a successful three-day conference with its key industry partners, manufacturers, resellers and the press. This year, end-users were also invited to learn about some of the latest innovations in the print and publishing world and to participate in interactive, hands-on technical sessions.
After a successful partner event last year, Four Pees decided to make it even bigger and better this year and took the event right to the historic city center of Ghent where vendors, resellers and end-users from all over Europe and beyond came together to find out about the latest additions and improvements in the print industry. The event took place from October 3-5, 2011 and was hosted by axaio software, callas software, Elpical, GMG, Remote Director, PrintFactory, ProofMaster and Twixl media.
The event kicked off with a press conference where Four Pees announced the launch of the new Atomyx Automation and Atomyx Portal products. Atomyx Automation, the successor of the DFlux product line, is a complete production automation solution covering all stages of a modern workflow. Atomyx Portal is an out-of-the box job submission and quality control portal solution created by Four Pees. It streamlines file submission including additional metadata, quality control and verification against product properties setup by the printer or publisher.
Over the course of the event, Four Pees offered a wide range of breakout sessions – giving delegates the choice between strategic, commercial and technical sessions – concentrating on either printing, publishing, packaging or large format production. As always the partner event was the perfect opportunity to present resellers and end-users the latest and greatest of the Four Pees product portfolio. This way they learn how to stay on top of the recent technology developments and remain competitive in the market.
In addition to these industry-leading presentations and hands on technical breakout sessions, delegates also had the opportunity to engage in several networking activities. Direct contact with vendors, developers and demonstrators is what participants value the most. Networking opportunities are important, and Four Pees has done an extra effort in personal introduction during the event. In a relaxed environment, breaks, lunch and evening entertainment created the perfect setting for resellers, manufacturers and customers to network and get to know each other.
“I got some very useful hints for my upcoming projects and some new points of view to specific problems for which I already searched for a solution for quite a while,” one of the participants writes after the event. ”I enjoyed the warm welcome and atmosphere throughout the whole event very much and I was impressed by the great gastronomic traditions and capabilities of Belgium.”
