HP will be presenting a selection of its versatile range of graphic solutions on stand K10 at IPEX Digital Middle East, 14-16 November, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
HP Scitex and Designjet printers for rigid and flexible graphics for indoor and outdoor markets will be featured on the stand, along with information and examples of book printing by HP Color Inkjet Web Presses and information for print service providers wishing to reduce the impact of printing on the environment.
A portfolio of wide format graphics printers
The 3.2m (126in) HP Scitex LX850 Industrial Printer delivers maximum versatility and productivity with multiple workflow features, including dual-roll, roll-to-free fall and roll-to-collector handling and an ink collector. This printer uses HP Latex Inks, which have been introduced to limit the impact on the environment and help customers increase their productivity.
Another latex device, the HP Designjet L25500 Printer, will also be on show. Available in 152cm (60in) model, this established and versatile printer is ideal for the production of indoor graphics. Its wide-ranging applications versatility also makes it suitable for outdoor graphics, including vehicle wraps, as well as interior decoration and soft signage.
Also on show, the HP Scitex FB500 Industrial Press offers 1.63m-wide printing at speeds of up to 37m2/hr. The printer increases application versatility by printing to a wide range of rigid and flexible media and offers output-enriching matt/gloss finishes, as well as optional white ink.
Completing the wide format graphics line up will be the high-speed, HP Designjet Z6200 Printer that uses HP Vivid Photo Inks to deliver high-quality output and the highest speeds of large-format printers in its class. Designed for photo labs, digital print shops, advertising agencies, design firms and commercial printers, the HP Designjet Z6200 Printer delivers high photo-quality prints at speeds up to140m2/hour (1500ft2/hour) . This printer, with embedded spectrophotometer, includes HP technology features that enable smooth operation and excellent colour accuracy and consistency.
The future of books, direct mail and transpromotional printing
Also featured on stand will be information on the recently launched HP IHPS Color Inkjet Web Presses. Since the launch of the HP T300 Color Inkjet Web Press in 2010, three new presses have followed, the HP T200, T350 and T400 Color Inkjet Web Presses with web widths from 203mm (8in) to 1076mm (42in) with speeds up to 1076m/min. Already installed at leading publications printers around the world, this technology offers speed, reliability and flexibility as well as the benefits of digital: variable data printing; the ability to achieve fast turnarounds, and substrate versatility.
The stand will feature real life print samples and applications from existing customers around the world as well as key information about the portfolio.
Reducing the impact of print on the environment
Information about how HP digital printing solutions can help to reduce the environmental impact of printing will be available in the HP Latex Printing Technologies area of the stand. Stephen Goddard, environmental leadership programme manager, HP, will be able discuss newly available assistance for HP Latex printer users looking to ‘go green,’ as well as environmental information about HP Latex Printing Technologies including the inks, certifications and recyclable substrate options. There will also be environmental information available on the HP Inkjet Web Press family, including a recent report on the environmental case for digitally printed books.
