Due to an insufficient number of exhibitors to guarantee the trade show’s usual standards, Reed Exhibition France has decided to cancel the upcoming Viscom Paris show, scheduled to take place on 26th, 27th and 28th September 2017. An agreement was nevertheless reached between the two organisers, Reed Exhibition France and 656 Editions (a subsidiary of the Infopro Digital group), to ensure continuity and to strengthen the trade shows’ dynamics within the sector.

It was decided that a unique measure would be put into place to welcome Viscom Paris exhibitors to the next C!Print Lyon trade show in February 2018, organized by 656 Editions.

In order to respect Viscom Paris’ position, whose development strategy has recently been concentrated on the Sign, Digital Media and Display markets, a “Digital Signage & OOH” area will be set up next to C!Print Lyon in order to better accommodate these new exhibitors and to allow the trade show’s visitors to find companies which, up until then, weren’t present at the event.

“This agreement confirms C!Print’s position as a national event. With C!Print Lyon and C!Print Madrid, we are now leaders in both major markets of France and Spain,” said Guillaume Abou, Managing Director of 656 Editions.

The agreement should enable 656 Editions to pursue its development and strengthen its initial strategy by developing C!Print Lyon as the main annual event for the printing, sign and digital markets. Moreover, the Paris launch of the new Print in Progress event by 656 Editions on the 11th and 12th of October will bring new momentum to the Parisian trade shows within the sector.
