Repropoint’s wide format event being held today (13th June 2012) at Mercedes-Benz World in Surrey attracted 300 pre-registrations and – as at 12.30pm – over 150 people had already turned up to the venue.

Attendees are being offered the chance to experience the ‘best in speed, quality and reliability’ by getting up close to the latest HP printers and plotters, Drytac laminators and Contex scanners on display.  They also are invited to enjoy the power of Mercedes-Benz performance cars as expert drivers take them either round the race track or on the off-road course in a 4×4 vehicle.

In addition, James Deaco, the renowned vehicle wrapping expert is undertaking wrapping demonstrations at half hourly intervals throughout the day.
Steve Hallett, Repropoint’s managing director, was very pleased with the turnout this morning and commented, “We wanted to promote HP’s large format solutions and also promote our business as a whole.  We’re having a good year and, in particular, the HP latex solutions are a very successful addition to the product line.

Phil Oakley, HP’s UK & Ireland Country Manager for Designjet and Commercial Sign & Display was also in attendance, alongside a number of other HP colleagues.  Steve Hallett concluded, “HP has given us very good support for the event and we hope to make a number of sales today.”
