altThe highly acclaimed Corel® workshop returns to Sign & Digital UK 2008.

The Corel workshop kicks off with a session looking at the new productivity-enhancing features of CorelDRAW® Graphics Suite X4. The second session looks more closely at the implementation of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4 in vehicle signage. As well as features such as dynamic guideline assistance and integrated font identification, over 10,000 high-quality clipart images, 1,000 high resolution, royalty-free photographs from iStockphoto a whole host of OpenType fonts, and 80 professionally designed templates are included.

The third session in the Corel workshop specifically addresses Corel® PHOTO-PAINT® X4. A market leading professional image-editing software application, PHOTO-PAINT X4 allows users to quickly and easily retouch and enhance photos. When used with CorelDRAW X4, it creates a workflow of unparalleled fluidity that includes bitmap photo editing. Suzanne will share expert advice with visitors on effectively optimising parameters that range from contrast and saturation, to brightness and colour management. Suzanne will also be demonstrating RAW Lab, newly included with PHOTO-PAINT X4.

The penultimate session in the workshop teaches visitors how to export vector graphics or images from CorelDRAW X4 and combine them with video clips and sound files in Corel® VideoStudio® 11.5 Plus, and create impressive films to be used for digital advertising.

Lastly, Suzanne looks at the pitfalls facing designers all over the industry, and how CorelDRAW X4 can help ensure that what is on the screen, translates exactly to the finished product. The colour management, preview and indication of overprint features all help safeguard against costly errors, and are contained within the simple to use Service Bureau Profiler. In this session Suzanne will also be looking at CorelDRAW ConceptShare, a valuable online collaboration tool that is integrated into CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X4. This allows visitors to share designs, ideas and parts of projects with colleagues or clients in real time over the web.
