Have Roland equipment and materials made your life more successful, your life experience richer or helped build your business? Are you prepared to say so in a short video lasting from six to 60 seconds and then post it on YouTube before submitting it for consideration or uploading it directly to the competition website http://www.withroland.eu/ where it can be seen by visitors and judges? The video must incorporate a voiceover including the phrase “With Roland… ” and be recorded with the qualifying Roland equipment in shot. Wherever possible the organisers would expect Roland inks and Roland accessories to be used.
Contestants must be 18 or over to take part and must be the owner or an employee of the owner of the Roland equipment used. A serial number and proof of purchase will be required. The organisers want the UK’s Roland DG enthusiasts to get creative, be passionate about their equipment, funny or just plain honest about how Roland’s high standards have changed their lives.
The first prize will take two people on a once in a lifetime trip to Japan which will include a tour of the cultural delights of Kyoto, Tokyo and Roland DG’s state-of-the-art head office in Hamamatsu. The prize also includes seven night’s accommodation in a five-star hotel.
Two runners up will a luxury weekend break for two in Europe. They will be able to choose from a number of destinations and spend three nights in luxury five-star accommodation.
Three commendations will win an iPad air 2 with 16GB memory. This slim, sought after tablet is just 6.1mm thick and weighs 437g.
The competition closes on the 26th October. Submissions must be no more than 50MB. The #withroland competition is Europe wide and Roland DG UK says it hopes the UK can set a benchmark for excellence. Good luck!
