Aimed at print service providers, the video explains in depth how to measure the UV output of flatbed digital inkjet printing presses using the EIT Power Puck II and Powerview II software.
Measuring UV lamp performance in this way can help to ensure that lamps are operating within manufacturer recommended tolerances for optimal ink curing and adhesion to substrate. It also helps to check that older lamps are still operating within acceptable curing ranges, or indeed that the lamp and the ink are compatible for optimal ink cure and adhesion to substrate.
