As the digital print market continues to evolve, the demand for quick turnaround print projects requiring small runs with a high quality finish, continues to rise.

In response to this growing demand, Antalis has launched digital versions of its popular range of Arjowiggins Creative Papers.

Branded Arjowiggins Digital, this vibrant, colourful product portfolio brings together the best sellers from across Arjowiggins Creative Papers’ iconic brands: Conqueror, Curious Collection, Keaykolour, Rives and Pop’Set. It also includes Delos and Butterfly, perfect for creative packaging solutions.

This extended range, which is compatible with the very latest liquid and dry toner printing technologies, will make it increasingly easy for customers to meet the demand for quick turnaround projects requiring small runs with a high quality print finish.

The remastered digital range, consisting of just under 170 products, will be available worldwide in new weights, sizes, colours, textures and finishes and will provide designers and printers with everything they need to produce just about any creative digital print project.

Following the partnership between Arjowiggins Creative Papers and Mohawk which was announced last year, the paper manufacturer has applied Mohawk’s proven i-Tone technology across their creative paper ranges which now sit alongside Mohawk’s flagship Superfine i-Tone papers. Mohawk’s exclusive i-Tone technology is renowned for its impressive, consistent, high fidelity print quality and extremely quick drying time and ensures that cutting-edge digital printing presses work seamlessly with these distinctive papers without compromise. Antalis will therefore now be able to provide customers with high quality, quick-drying digital products perfect for printing on any liquid toner press.

The offer of papers for dry toner printing has also been expanded and, thanks to rigorous testing, customers will be provided with paper-specific technical information for perfect results on any dry toner press.

James Jarvis, Channel Director for Print at Antalis, comments: “Our ambition at Antalis is to provide customers with innovative products and services adapted to the very latest digital printing technologies, allowing them to harness the potential of this growing market. The industry is continually evolving and there are huge opportunities for commercial printers to embrace new technologies, enter new markets and build new revenue streams. By extending our digital printing range with Arjowiggins Creative Papers Digital, we’re continuing to help our customers bring their most creative ideas to life, both efficiently and cost-effectively.”

As part of the new digital offer, paper packs ranging from 50 – 250 sheets will be available. This will enable printers to respond to the increased demand for bespoke, customised and personalised print even for the shortest runs, with no unnecessary wastage.

Customers will also benefit from a broad range of digital formats adapted to dry toner presses and in particular to HP indigo liquid toner presses: SRA3+ formats of 460x320mm and 320x460mm, an extended 483×330 and 330x483mm format, as well as the more recent 527x748mm and 748x527mm B2 format for the HP Indigo 10000 and the new HP Indigo 12000 model presented at DRUPA.

Maximising the new capabilities of new digital presses, Antalis will be offering a wider range of weights from 112g to 380g – ideal for all creative applications from stationery to publishing, promotional collateral, gift cards and photography as well as folding cartons, gift bags and hang tags for the growing packaging sector. Beautiful swatch books with samples of each reference have been created for both the liquid and dry toner ranges. Trial packs are also available for printers on request with 10-15 examples of each reference.

The launch of Arjowiggins Creative Papers Digital completes the already extensive collection of digital papers offered by Antalis; with coated, uncoated, recycled papers and boards with such brands as Novatech, Digigreen and Olin, as well as the Xerox and specialty ranges.
