With an emphasis on recyclable products, conVerd will showcase its alternative resources for the wide-format digital printing industry at Fespa/Graphics of Americas (GOA) 2011.
"Our mantra at conVerd is: renew, reuse, sustain," said Paul Paulette, vice president of Sustainable Products. "All of our products are FSC‐certified, for responsible resource management. That means our printing substrates get tracked through the supply chain—including processing, transformation and manufacturing, to ensure the end product is among the most socially and environmentally responsible products available."
The company is highlighting four paper products: Enviroboard MR, a rigid, moisture‐resistant material that takes the traditional board products to the next level; Blox‐Lite, a green hanging signage alternative to PVC vinyl banner that is 100 percent opaque and printable on both sides; GreenLight Plus!, a backlit alternative to synthetic films; and the new EnviroScape Mural Plus!, a wallscaping product that is easy to install and remove, while supporting LEED credit certification and carrying a class A fire rating by ASTM E‐84.
"The printing industry is responsible for a large amount of signage used to promote and display products and services. To help reduce the negative impact on the environment, the market can count on products like conVerd," said Milene Ribas, marketing manager.
