Responding to market demand for additional colour options of the industry’s most versatile, coloured vinyl—MACmark® 8900 Series marking films—MACtac® Graphic Products has added 20 new matte colours, bringing the full portfolio to 51 colour finishes.
The MACmark 8900 Series product line launched with 12 colours originally, but due to continued popularity among sign shops and interior designers, has consistently grown throughout the past few years.
The marking film series features a unique, high-performance, removable solvent-based adhesive that quickly forms a strong bond to most substrates, including drywall, yet removes cleanly and easily.
“The new colour additions to our MACmark 8900 Series marking films, driven by market demand, offer even more options and uses for a wider variety of applications,” said Rick Moore, marketing director, MACtac Graphic Products. “With 51 unique matte colour options now available, combined with longer durability and product performance, sign makers are able to conquer wide ranging design challenges and application opportunities.”
A 2.8-mil soft calendered, intermediate vinyl, MACmark 8900 Series offers superior, smooth cutting and weeding. It has an outdoor durability of up to four years and can be removed cleanly for up to two years after application. The vinyl features a highly stable 83# white kraft liner with grid lines that allow for easy alignment and installation. Customers also appreciate that MACmark 8900 Series can be applied in very low temperature conditions with success.
MACmark 8900 Series marking films are suitable for a range of applications that include decorative wall designs, interior décor, window graphics, spray masks, vehicle markings, floor graphics and other indoor or outdoor advertising signage.
