Nottingham-based specialist distributor, Artsystems, has announced the arrival of Xativa’s cost-effective and high quality 3D Filament to the UK market.
Xativa offers a range of European manufactured and high quality ABS, PET and PLA filaments which has proven perfectly compatible with a wide selection of Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) 3D printers. Priced competitively and available in a broad gamut of colours and in 1.75mm and 2.85mm widths, Xativa 3D Filament has been rigorously tested to ensure high quality of model build and ease of use. Thermal stability and strength make it an ideal material for a wide variety of 3D print projects
Ted Freer is the Divisional Manager − Design for the specialist graphics materials and hardware distributor. Commenting on the latest addition to the ArtSystems catalogue, he says: “We have been asked by resellers to help source a high quality alternative 3D filament that is suitable to work with the broadest possible range of FDM 3D printers. The market is saturated with low-cost options but consistency of quality, acceptable modelling outcomes and assurance of supply has become an increasing problem for our resellers.
“In choosing to launch Xativa 3D Filament to the UK market we called on our 20-years of expertise as a consumables distributor. Our product knowledge and understanding of the 3D sector helped us to ensure we were providing a good quality filament at a competitive price that will always be available when our customers need it.”
