The new MakerBot Method 3D printer is the very first in a new category of high-performance 3D printers to bridge the gap between industrial and desktop 3D printing. It will be showcased at the Southern Manufacturing Show from 5th-7th February at Farnborough in Hampshire.
Will Glass, 3D Product Specialist for Nottingham-based distributor ArtSystems, said: “This will be the first time that the UK’s wider 3D print community will get the opportunity to see this stunning new 3D printer and watch it in action.
“The innovative new MakerBot Method 3D printer brings new levels of precision and productivity never seen at this price point before. It also boasts incredible dimensional accuracy of ±0.2mm, is two times faster than other desktop 3D printers and manages everything within a seamless print workflow.
“We are extremely grateful to MakerBot for ensuring we were able to get access to the very first Method units coming into Europe for the Southern Manufacturing Show.
“It demonstrates just how important the UK market is, and how it can really benefit from this new category of 3D printer. Our three resellers partners are all very excited about the opportunity.”
Will concluded: “Visitors will be able to see demonstrations of the new MakerBot Method 3D printer throughout the show, so they can see how this bold new category of 3D printer can help enliven design and prototyping workflow.”
