Tecnau’s CutReady solution will showcase its ability to cut and stack output from HP Indigo Digital Presses during several HP Indigo events in Israel, and then at drupa.
The new Tecnau CutReady solution will be demonstrated inline to the HP Indigo WS6800p Digital Press at Dscoop EMEA, April 5 - 8, where Tecnau is a platinum partner. Dscoop is an independent community for all HP Graphic Arts users, industry experts, and solutions partners across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific.
Modular flexibility
CutReady supports a broad array of applications, media types, and paper weights – completing one up, two up, and three up output in standard photo sizes including 4x6, 5x7, 6x8, 10x8, and 12x18 inches. It delivers lay-flats for offline finishing, book covers with inline or offline lamination, calendars, canvas and other specialty products, as well as long- sheet applications such as posters and banners, while ensuring high accuracy cross-cutting and side-trimming for full bleed applications.
Key to CutReady’s flexibility is its modularity. Running at speeds of up to 100 m/min, it features a TC 7000 TS cutter, TC 0250 shingling conveyor and a TC 0040 vibrating table.
Other inline modular elements are available for CutReady finishing lines, such as the WebVision quality monitoring system for data integrity and print quality testing, and TC 1550 processing units for dynamic scoring or special punching.
Live demonstrations of CutReady technology
In addition to being exhibited at Dscoop, CutReady will be shown during a number of HP Indigo VIP events. CutReady will also be presented at drupa 2016, at HP’s stand in Hall 17, showcasing additional functionalities and features that provide a higher level of automation and integration with the press workflow.
At drupa, Tecnau itself will be located in Hall 8A, D63 where it will highlight multiple solutions for commercial print, publishing, and graphic arts.
“We’ve already installed multiple CutReadys in 24/7 production centres worldwide,” commented Stefano De Marco, Tecnau Sales and Marketing Director EMEA. “They include customers in the US, Australia, Asia Pacific, and Latin America with both inline and nearline options to the HP Indigo WS6000p Digital Press series. The upcoming HP Indigo events are a great opportunity to show the results these customers are getting, and highlight just how flexible and economical reel-to-cut systems can be.”
“We are delighted to collaborate with Tecnau,” said Gershon Alon, Workflow Solutions and Partner Program Manager at HP Indigo. “The HP Indigo WS6800p Digital press combined with the Tecnau CutReady offers our customers a versatile, efficient and highly productive solution for the production of multiple applications in the photo specialty space.”
