Vivid Laminating Technologies returns to SDUK with its award-winning Easymount & Matrix Systems and a new brand for its luxury foil supply.

Developed by Leister and brought to the UK by Welwyn Tool Group, the HEMTEK ST is a new and innovative table top hem welding machine. One of the most significant advantages it brings to banner and sign manufacturers is its high production efficiency, as it can complete the whole welding process from the beginning to the end at speeds of up to 12m per minute.

Trotec will showcase its large format SP3000 laser cutter for the first time in the UK at Sign & Digital UK. Visitors to the exhibition at the NEC on 28-30th March 2017 will be able to see first hand how the SP3000, with its 2210 x 3210 mm working area, can process acrylics, wood and textiles for the signage, display and digital print industries.

Belonging to a series of large format industrial laser cutters from Trotec, the award winning SP3000 is open to all four sides and has a V-shaped body, allowing easy access to the working area for efficient loading and unloading of materials for high-volume and high-speed cutting applications.

The SP series has been developed with the signage and printing industries' needs in mind. A fully enclosed beam path and easy access to the working area keep operators safe, while Sonar Technology™ auto-focusing, a travelling exhaust and cutting speeds up to 2m/sec ensure high productivity without any compromise on the quality of finish.

Curtis Packaging has installed a new Zünd S3 M1200 digital cutting table in a purpose-built area of its new 20,000sq ft premises in Redhill.

 

On Stand D50, Graphtec GB will demonstrate the new FCX2000 series of flatbed plotter/cutters. They are available in three sizes (920 x 610, 920 x 1,200 and 920 x 1,800mm) and a choice of either a vacuum suction or electrostatic material hold-down facility, with the former being more suitable for heavier and thicker materials and the latter better suited to the processing of lighter-weight media.

KJ Ryan says its recent purchase of a Zünd G3 2XL3200 digital cutting system was 'the obvious choice' that has accelerated its production of prototypes and completed designs for the automotive interiors market.
