With specialist facilities in Barcelona and Madrid, C Printing Emotions is well equipped to offer a host of print services to its clients. These include vehicle and fleet wrapping, indoor and outdoor signage and décor.
C Printing Emotions operates as part of a larger group alongside several other companies: DPI, Exterior Play and Rotuleon.
DPI, which also has sites in Madrid and Barcelona, focuses on outdoor advertising, while Exterior Play, operating out of locations in Valladolid and Coruña, also specialises in this area. Supporting these businesses is León-based Rotuleon, which offers indoor and outdoor signage, as well as flags for buildings and digital signage.
The businesses were operating under the Alium Group, established in 2020 to help support and drive wider growth. The group then joined international organisation GLIMMA in 2022, allowing the four companies to make use of enlarged technology capabilities and infrastructure to access and take on projects all over the world.
HP Latex playing a key role in ongoing growth
Focusing on C Printing Emotions and its own growth, the company has been an exclusive user of HP Latex technology since its launch eight years ago, using its portfolio of machines to produce all manner of printed work. The business was already running a HP Latex 370, HP Latex 310, HP Latex 570, HP Latex 1500 and HP Latex 800W.
When the time came to expand its production setup due to rising demand for its services, C Printing Emotions did not hesitate in again turning to HP Latex. This time, it chose to invest in a new HP Latex 2700W, signing off on the deal at C!Print 2023 in Madrid.
The new machine has been in place a number of months and had a significant impact on production. Chief Executive Officer Albert Catalá said the quality of the machine means C Printing Emotions is now positioned as one of the leading print providers in the Spanish market.
“The purchase of this machine positions us as the most technically prepared company in our highest volume lines of business,” Albert Catalá said. “We really like its speed, capacity, quality, reliability, guarantees and sustainability, and very importantly, its speed and low cost with white prints. All this, together with the flexibility of its inks, makes it the best machine for the most adverse, technical and complex applications.
“The decision to purchase this machine is to innovate, give the best quality to customers and above all be able to increase our production capacity. It will allow us to carry out a large number of printing projects this year.”
Looking at new markets
The HP Latex 2700W is mainly being used for large fleet wrapping projects and to produce vinyl for use on railway units. The company’s expanding presence in the fleet sector is being helped by its partnership with the ADR network of automotive workshops, granting the business access to more than 80 points across Spain and Portugal.
Such is the quality that C Printing Emotions has been able to achieve in these lines of work that Albert said it is helping the company to stand out from competitors across these markets. One stand-out example of this is the company taking on a major project for Amazon, fully wrapping 900 tractor units across Germany, France, Poland, Italy and its native Spain.
However, the work does not stop there for the HP Latex 2700, with Albert saying the machine is now the company’s “best ally” in high-volume decoration and white ink jobs. This, he added, is proof of the flexibility of HP Latex technology.
“What we like most about HP Latex is the flexibility of its inks, sustainability, stability and durability, even without lamination,” Albert said. “I chose HP Latex because I knew I could sleep easy and that we wouldn’t have many printing issues’ that is peace of mind and savings.”
As for future growth, Albert said the HP Latex 2700 will play a major role in many projects for years to come, adding that he expects demand for services at C Printing Emotions to continue to increase as awareness of the brand widens. The company now enjoys exposure on the global stage, helped by its sponsorship of the MT Helmets MSI teams in both the Moto 2 and Moto 3 motorcycling events.
“The decision to work with HP Latex has helped C Printing Emotions to be considered one of the best companies in fleet vinyl and rail,” Albert said. “In fact, we are currently considering the purchase of an HP Latex R2000 to offer an expanded service to our customers.”
