At last week’s Viscom in Frankfurt, Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s was awarded a Viscom Best of 2014 Award in the category Large Format Printing.
The judging panel cited that – since its introduction to the market – the inkjet printer has become a popular best-seller for indoor and outdoor applications with a high level of customer satisfaction. They added that the possibility for “unattended printing”, made possible through simple operation via social networks, such as Twitter, were just as impressive as the print speed and that made the Seiko Instruments’ ColorPainter M-64s a ‘real high-flyer’ in universal large format printing.
“This prize acknowledges the hard work that our experts and technicians have put into the development and improvement of this impressive digital printer,” says Frank Kühn, Seiko Instruments General Manager. He points out that it highlights the commitment and dedication of all certified Partners of Seiko Instruments who have positioned ColorPainter M-64s so excellently in the market.
Another Viscom highlight was Seiko Instruments’ presentation of its latest generation of ColorPainter H-Series. Having ColorPainter H2-104 as a basis, it will run with eco solvent SX-ink and most of ColorPainter M-64s’ path breaking technology will be implemented in order to achieve up to now unknown print results in this range. The official product launch of the new ColorPainter H-Series generation will take place at the beginning of 2015.
