Wasatch Computer Technology's SoftRIP TX has won SGIA's 2015 Product of the Year award in the category of "Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Textile for RIP Software".

SGIA’s team of digital imaging professionals evaluate and award exceptional products that are showcased at the expo. SoftRIP TX was showcased with Epson's SureColor® F9200 dye sublimation printer, which won Product of the Year in the "Roll-to-Roll Dye Sublimation on Textile" category.

Wasatch SoftRIP TX’s features are designed specifically for digital textile printing and have all the functionality of SoftRIP. Users can control their dye sublimation printing process with a number of specialised tools. The Color Atlas Generator and the new Color Neighborhood Analyzer allow users to print a range of colour swatches on their target media and use SoftRIP’s Spot Color Replacement tool to enter RGB values for exact colour matching. SoftRIP's exclusive 16-bit rendering pipeline means colour subtleties and gradients in images are maintained, reproducing colour with the greatest level of intricacy for high-definition output.

At InPrint (Booth F27, 10-12 November 2015 in Munich) Onyx Graphics, Inc. will show how its RIP and colour management software can manage and automate consistent digital colour printing onto a wide range of substrates in the manufacturing process.

Alongside this, integration with Adobe’s latest PDF engine, APPE 3.7, enabled Rolandprintstudio to provide high level compliancy with PDF files, making the printing process simple for customers who choose to use PDF files.

In response to the launch of Roland DG’s new ECO-SOL MAX 3 inks range in Europe, Rolandprintstudio will host a full set of basic profiles, available from Roland DG’s profile center as of the 28th of September 2015. Much-desired drivers for the Texart RT-640 and VersaUV LEJ-640 (double white) have also been included in the v1.1 update, offering full inclusion for many Roland DG end users.
