Zund UK, the pioneering leading force in digital cutting technology solutions, is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its highly anticipated grand opening ceremony for its new 40,000 sq. ft UK headquarters at Acuta House, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire.

Based on the outskirts of Ashford in Kent, UPG is part of the Picture Playground Group, run by two brothers (Kier and Tallis). The manufacturing base was acquired as part of their purchase of Print Big, a business established over 20 years ago.

Sheard Packaging, the UK’s leading independent corrugated solutions provider has developed a Mobile Innovation Centre (MiC) using a 40-foot expandable trailer equipped with a Zünd S3 Cutter.

Zünd is bringing to market new, DLC-coated router bits. The coating reduces friction and increases wear resistance, thereby delivering very high-quality results as well as better performance and cost efficiency.

Zünd UK Ltd returned to Sign & Digital at the beginning of April with a showcase of its precision cutting solutions. The company demonstrated a number of Zünd cutters in different configurations at the event, on both its own stand and that of print manufacturer Canon.
