As a Gold sponsor at this year’s Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) Expo, INX Digital International Co. will use the occasion for the North American debut of its new Triangle ECO inks and Eco Bulk ink delivery system. Joining both products in the booth (#3249) during the October 13-15 show at the Las Vegas Convention Center will be the EVOLVE Advanced Digital Solutions line.
"We are very proud of our association with SGIA and we are looking forward to another outstanding show," said Ken Kisner, President of INX Digital International. "It’s been a demanding but good year, and our products have been well received at every event we have attended globally. There is a lot of enthusiasm for what we have to offer printers who are interested in transitioning to digital printing. Our customers who have done so are experiencing a new revenue source and have set a course for the future. I invite those attending SGIA to visit our booth and learn how digital printing can help them."
EDX is a new line of eco solvent inks and represents the first time INX Digital’s Triangle brand has offered a colour and chemically compatible ECO product for the alternative market. With dual compatibility, users can perform cartridge-by-cartridge changeover without wasting ink. New colour profiles are not required in order to obtain the same colour as OEM inks when printing. Designed for Roland printers with Epson DX4 print head technology, EDX is a fast drying ink with low odour and is HAPS- and TAPS-free. EDX also provides a significant cost savings compared to OEM eco inks.
INX Digital will be running UV LED inks in the booth on its CP100 series EVOLVE printer, which is designed for short-run cylindrical packaging. The CP100 is an important part of integrated systems technology platforms developed by INX Digital to provide customer-driven solutions for inkjet printing, production workflows and material handling. This is another example of how INX Digital can pull from its large resource base to provide engineered print systems and have the ink optimised for use in the system.
“EVOLVE is unique and remains a work in progress, so we can adapt to the ever-changing needs of the customer,” said Willis Reese, Director of New Business Development for INX Digital.
"The EVOLVE business strategy is enabling those companies who want to go digital, but don’t know where to start the process. INX Digital is leading the digital market when it comes to providing a total solution. EVOLVE allows the print customer to explore our chemistry and equipment capabilities to determine what’s best for their business. The bottom line strategy is that we are helping customers to see how their current business can go digital without huge expenses involved.”
INX Digital formulates the UV LED inks, which not only contributes to energy savings but is in line with the company’s corporate commitment to developing more sustainable products.
A perfect example of that commitment is Eco Bulk. As an integral part of INX Digital’s Green recycling programme, it’s a new type of ink delivery system that’s easy to use and features a unique cardboard box design consisting of 100 percent recycled material.
Eco Bulk is comprised of one box instead of five, 440 ml cartridges, and the ink is housed within a foil bag. Once emptied, the bag is disposed of and replaced, a more sustainable approach compared to plastic. The foil bag can contain up to two litres of ink, double the current industry standard of one litre packaging and resulting in less waste, but 440 ml cartridges will remain available for customers using less ink. An extensive test programme revealed that more volume allows for greater consistency of the product being delivered through the network.
