INX Digital to exhibit at Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology show

INX Digital International Co. will focus on several themes and introduce a couple of new high performance ink products at the 18th annual Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology Equipment Exhibition, scheduled for July 6-9 at the Shanghai International Expo Centre.  The company will be exhibiting in Hall W1 on Stand 521.

As a preferred supplier to the Asian Pacific market, INX Digital will reinforce its corporate image.  Planned presentations on "Bringing together chemistry, technology and engineering", as well as "Delivering technologies that drive digital growth", are designed to help people understand the goals and achievements of the company.  This includes the new Prodigy brand of products, which was formally introduced at the FESPA Americas show four months ago.   New product introductions geared for the alternative markets outside North America will include the TRIANGLE LD ink series.

"We are taking this approach for several reasons," remarked Ken Kisner, President of INX Digital International.  "Historically, this event in China is not only well attended with customers and prospects from the Asian Pacific region, but it draws exceptionally well from Latin America and the Middle East.  We will have corporate and dealer representatives from those and other areas in the booth, and they will help explain who we are and what direction the company is taking.

"Many people only know us from the past as TRIANGLE.  This show will help them understand TRIANGLE is actually part of a much larger company with plenty of resources and a much bigger goal.  With a substantial R & D commitment, our reputation as a global industry leader in inkjet formulation and manufacturing capabilities, and the ability to produce new products like Prodigy for the graphic arts and industrial markets, people attending this show will realize the bright future ahead for INX Digital."

Continuing with its plan to introduce more new products to the marketplace, INX Digital will unveil the TRIANGLE LD series of high performance inks.  This includes STX LD for HP Scitex XL1200, XL1500 and Grandjet printers, and VUV LD for printers using Spectra, Hitachi Koki, Xaar 126 and Seiko 572 14pl print head technology.  A true solvent-based ink, among its many benefits is a greater color gamut and lower cost compared to OEM inks.

"I think the new LD series will make an impact with those attending this show," Kisner said.  "The main reason why we developed these inks was to be in a position to match a printer's needs.  Many jobs only require short term durability compared to the two-year durability that's the norm.  Our formulation matches lower durability needs and what customers and the market have been telling us.  With the LD series, they won't have to spend more money on a product they don't require."

Both the STX LD and VUV LD inks will be made available immediately after the show in the Asia-Pacific (except in Australia and New Zealand), Africa, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East.

INX Digital will also shine the spotlight on several Prodigy brand products. LED-INX, a UV-Curable pigmented inkjet ink, is now available after the company achieved solid test results and received positive feedback from integrators around the world.  Application samples of textile inks available for direct-to-fabric printing will be in the booth, in addition to water-based textile disperse and reactive dye inkjet inks.

INX Digital International Co. is a leading global manufacturer of inkjet inks for wide format, super-wide and new generation digital printers, and a supplier of printing parts and related services.  As the digital arm of INX International Ink Co., it offers a full palette of digital ink systems, advanced technologies and integrated services including chemistry, hardware and software, engineering design, and integration and media.  For more information, visit the Web site at www.INXdigital.com.

Lintec announces two high-quality PVC-free product ranges for indoor/outdoor applications

Lintec Graphic Films, a leading UK-based supplier of specialist pressure-sensitive coated film products for durable label applications and screen/digital solutions, has announced two high quality PVC-free ranges for indoor/outdoor applications to satisfy increasing demand for greener substrates. Harucolor and Tackpaint are available in the widest range of colours, making it easy for companies to switch to a green substrate that will reflect its premium quality products.

“A growing number of organisations demand a PVC-free product for both their in- and outdoor signage, but naturally do not want to compromise on quality and durability,” says Andy Voss, Managing Director of Lintec Graphic Films. “With our non-PVC range, customers have access to a speciality product that allows them all the conformability of PVC but without its plastisizer properties.”

Harucolor is available in 151 colours, and has been designed especially for eco-friendly interior applications, including signage, decoration and branding. Tackpaint offers an impressive 8-year exterior durability and is available in 61 standard and 18 translucent colours in gloss and matt, together with metallic grades. Both products can also be manufactured in custom corporate colours.

“With our non-PVC range, companies are now able to use high quality substrates without having to compromise on their environmental standing, and all indications are that the whole POS market is moving this way,” concludes Andy. “We continually review the industry and our customer’s requirements to ensure this can be met with our widening portfolio of high quality, niche products.”

Robert Horne Group adopts Colorific’s high quality alternative inks for Roland printers

Colorific, a leading supplier of high quality alternative inks, today announced that Robert Horne Group has become a Preferred Partner for its Colorific Pro Max inks for Roland printers.  This is one of Robert Horne Group’s first ventures into selling alternative inks.  At present, the agreement encompasses the UK and Northern Ireland.

As part of the agreement, Tech8, the technical support and spares provider for the wide format printing industry, will support Roland machines converted across to the Colorific Pro Max inks.  This will ensure that customers benefit from unrivalled support when switching across to Colorific’s cost-effective and reliable alternative ink solution.

Julian Boulter, Category Manager at Robert Horne Group, comments, “We took on the Colorific Pro Max inks so we could provide our customers with fully-supported access to high quality, cost-effective alternative inks.  Print businesses are under ever-increasing pressure to reduce costs without impacting the quality of their output and switching across to alternative inks is one way of doing so.”

The Colorific Pro Max inks for Roland printers are fully-compatible with Roland OEM inks and therefore there is no need to flush the system prior to switchover.  The colours are matched to the OEM inks and inks are available in CMYK,Lc,Lm 440ml chipped cartridges.

Shaun Holdom, Colorific’s Business Manager, adds, “For Roland printer owners, there are clear benefits in switching across to our high quality alternative inks.  They are more cost-effective than OEM inks, yet there is no differentiation in the quality of output and no issues switching over.  In addition, all Colorific Pro Max ink is backed by its own ink stream warranty.  The vast majority of our customers report over 30% cost saving on alternative ink compared to OEM ink.”

With Tech8’s backing, customers are also reassured of great technical support – in the unlikely event it is required.  Justin Atkinson, Business Development Manager, at Tech8, concludes, “For Roland printers that are now out of OEM-warranties, we are offering continued, cost-effective, comprehensive cover.  Customers will benefit from a cost-effective warranty package which ultimately gives them peace of mind – regardless of the age of the machine.”
